Compass Dancer Be-10 DMD
The new Diamond DMD Tweeter found in the Usher Compass Dancer series is the epitome of affordable High End Loudspeakers. We've been waiting for the new Dancer Series Its now here and in stock and in our selected Dancer retailers for you to go and hear.

Winner of HiFi World Speaker of The year 2009

The world's first Beryllium inverted dome midrange driver, the new Beryllium midrange on the Usher Dancer BE10/BE20 is a stunning piece of engineering excellence. Two whole years were spent in developing, testing and adjusting this new driver to perfection. It extends the legendary speed, clarity and accuracy of the Usher Beryllium tweeter to the midrange, and has an unparalleled authority in its reproduction of the most critical and musically important midrange of the audio spectrum.

However, it doesn't end there, the shear musicality of this speaker cannot be overstated, and in rooms from small to large it works a treat. The integration between the tweeter and midrange drive units has been described to us by end users, as beating that offered by other maybe better know brands such as Sonus Faber, Wilson Benesch and Meridian in direct comparison, this is to name just a few. These are all from people who have emailed us with feedback over the last months.

The bass response is quite formidable. Do not be fooled by thinking more is better, many comment on the poor integration found in multi drive unit loudspeakers. The Be10 with its single 11" custom Eton Woofer has a beautifully crafted crossover, that allows the mid range 5" beryllium unit to perfectly integrate with desirable lower frequencies being fed to the woofer. Yes the Eton unit takes many hours, some say 300 others 500. But then this run in period is true for all good loudspeakers.

Usher audio 5" Beryllium Mid range Drive unitThe finish on all Ushers speakers is superb, but the lacquer on the Walnut or Birch finishes is absolutely top notch. We recently had the opportunity to compare the finish against a brand new £220,000 car parked outside a retailer taking delivery of a opened pair of Be10. The reflection in the speaker was a lot clearer than that from the car's paint finish, and the few people passing in those fleeting minutes commented on this as they stood looking at these two highly desirable items. One very much more affordable than the other.

The Usher Audio Be10 is a true audiophiles' instrument. Going lower than the slightly smaller 8571, and playing music at lower volumes but with the same dynamics you get at higher volumes. It gives unrivalled enjoyment at anywhere near the price.
